The history of the Union Pacific Railroad could fill a good sized book. The history of this company's growth and change over the years in many ways parallels the history of railroading itself, especially in the USA. The history of the UP logo is, in many ways, as interesting a tale as that of the company - especially if you're into logos (and you know you are). This particular logo is a single-color adaptation of the standard UP logo still used today and first seen about 1982, which is normally red, white, and blue. This is a little more toned-down, less Captain America. We hope you like it.
