Aéroport international de Genève (Geneva International Airport) has been undergoing extensive renovations since 2007. A new restaurant called "Altitude" is now open with cuisine offered by three award-winning chefs and with a "lounge", bar, bistro area, and numerous meeting/board rooms. Satellite 10, was put into service on 25 November 2008 and complements the airport's existing boarding lounges to accomodate the greater-than-expected increase in passenger traffic since 2007. The Satellite is designed to receive up to 1,000 passengers an hour. The building meets all the latest energy requirements, and will be equipped with solar panels next year to provide a significant proportion of its power supply."
